I know the struggle, I\u2019ve slept in shelters and on park benches, and I never forgot that. I remember that being one of the most difficult periods of my life, and if I can help someone who is currently there, then it will have all been worth it\u2026\u201d -B. Williams has worked with some of the music industry\u2019s biggest names who include <\/span>Tasha Cobbs-Leonard <\/b>(<\/span>Billboard\u2019s Top Gospel Artist of the Decade<\/span><\/a>), <\/span>Chrissy Collins <\/b>(toured with <\/span>Beyonce\u00b4 <\/b>as one of three background singers for several years) and band members who have gone on to play for <\/span>Justin Timberlake<\/b>, <\/span>Jill Scott<\/b>, <\/span>Bobby Brown<\/b>, and more!<\/span> <\/b>Also, last year, the choir went VIRAL and made major headlines as one of the most soulful renditions of the \u201cHappy Birthday Song\u201d ever with <\/span>OVER<\/b> <\/span>2 MILLION VIEWS on TikTok. <\/b>However, in spite of the success of his choir members, Williams is committed to making a direct impact on one of the city\u2019s most marginalized communities and provide resources to people who need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n

Williams, along with a staff inclusive of choir members, has created <\/span>Mellie\u2019s Pride<\/span><\/a>, a 501(c)3 to provide housing to Atlanta\u2019s LGBT youth. The foundation\u2019s motto, H.O.P.E. (Helping Our People Elevate) was birthed to encourage anyone that encounters the organization and find \u201cHOPE\u201d in often \u201chope-less\u201d situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

B. Chase & Shabach has been known for their incredible voices and powerful messages and are no strangers to philanthropy work. \u201cWe\u2019ve sang in prisons, nursing homes, shelters, retirement communities, you name it, we\u2019ve been there because it\u2019s important that we reach people where they are and not the other way around\u2026<\/span>\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

B. Chase & Shabach will be hosting a free event, entitled <\/span>\u201cChoirs Rock\u201d on May 29 in Atlanta <\/b>where attendees are encouraged to bring supplies to help the youth of Mellie\u2019s Pride.  They are seeking donations of clothes, non-perishable food, toiletries, new underwear and more in order to give the community\u2019s youth the items they need but may not have access to.<\/span><\/p>\n

B. Chase & Shabach also has a new release climbing the charts entitled, <\/span>\u2018Grace of God\u2019 <\/b>that can be downloaded and streamed on all digital platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n
