Relationship Unleashed is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization founded in 2014 whose mission is “Fighting Inequality To Empower the LGBTQ Community.” This work is done through the organizations commitment to 3E Core principles of Education, Empowerment, and Enrichment.
Gwendolyn states “the darkness of social constraints and injustices that promote disparities based on one’s social determinants and sexual identity have to be addressed.” Relationship Unleashed will address these issue through their 4 part Empowerment Summer|Fall Workshop Series. The series will feature elements of Life Coaching, Peer to Peer Mentoring, Financial Literacy, Spoken Word and Motivational Sessions.”
Davin states “We plan to push through the obvious boundaries that portray the LGBTQ community as a monolithic segment of society, through collaboration with political leaders and community organization. We plan to illuminate the different perspectives on current issues, therefore creating a deeper understanding about who we are.”
Relationship Unleashed Empowerment Series will serve as a “safe space” for the LGBTQ Community in the Greater Memphis area where the aim is originality with viewpoints and a unique spin of information not readily available to the community members. We believe that this market is under served and the opportunity to give an identity and voice to this segment of the community is prime timing.
Whereas Relationship Unleashed Empowerment Workshops focuses on transformational concepts with an array of comprehensive best practice self-development concepts.
The July Series begins with An Empowering Conversation: “It’s Time to Stop Making Excuses In The LGBTQ Community” on Monday July 25th at 6pm until 8pm at 325 Wagner Ave, Memphis, TN 38103 (Downtown off of Front and Vance).
